Being one of the Top 10 Agents In Tulsa is not easy to achieve in this highly competitive market, but I’ve now done it every year since 2018. While I’m definitely the Agent you want in your corner if you’re buying a home, I’ve mostly specialized as a Listing Agent because of my marketing skill set.
I’ve spent the greater part of my adult life selling things. I have 17 years experience marketing on the internet, where most homes are now sold. I have 21 years of experience as an architectural photographer, which saves my home sellers money. I have 7 years of drone flying experience. I don’t want this blog to be my full resume so suffice it to say, I know how to sell homes.
In October of 2024, I passed the half Billion dollar mark in sold Listings and helping Buyer’s purchase their homes. My total is currently at $517,374,935, with what I believe to now be over 2,000 homes sold and purchased with me as the Listing Agent or Buyer’s Agent. In 2018, I was the #1 highest producing Agent in the Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors. I enjoy being the #1 of the top 10 agents in Tulsa! Please forgive me for sounding like I’m bragging! I’m not providing this information to brag, but I am working toward earning your respect for me as a professional real estate agent in Tulsa. One of the Top 10 Agents in Tulsa. While it’s almost true that if you’re walking thru Walmart and you find a tennis ball on the floor, if you closed your eyes and threw it, you’d probably hit a real estate Agent. That Agent is most likely not a full time professional that spends every day of their working life focusing on the local markets, home values in Jenks, home values in Broken Arrow, and more. There are currently about 6,000 licensed real estate Agents in the Greater Tulsa area, with an estimated 300-500 full timers. If I was walking thru Walmart and got hit by a tennis ball, I’d find you. We would talk. I’d find out that you were blindly searching for a real estate Agent with a tennis ball, and I’d send you to my website to read my blog articles first. I want you to know that I write my own articles because it matters. My website shell was created by another company, but most of the pages are created by me. I believe it will be quickly understood that I know what I’m doing if you read some of my blogs. The things I write may not be the best written you’ve ever experienced and that’s OK with me, but you’ll recognize experience in the pages.
In my 20+ years in the real estate industry, I’ve handled thousands of contracts, and I’ve spent uncountable hours negotiating. From all of that experience I’ve learned so much, including how to write a contract that protects my Sellers and Buyers, and gets them what they want. I’ve also received contracts that left the other side of the transaction in a bad place because of mistakes made by their Agent. Contracts with no expiration date for the offer. Contracts without listing the items that were supposed to be included from our verbal negotiations! You name it, I’ve probably seen it. I remember being a new Agent and not knowing much. Everyone has to start somewhere. I’m sorry if this sounds harsh towards inexperienced Agents, but consider this; selling or purchasing a home is a huge financial decision, and while you’re going thru what is always a paperwork filled, detail oriented mine field, do you want your “guide” to be a rookie that happens to be your cousin or your child’s 1st grade teacher, or would you prefer an experienced professional? If your answer is “I want a pro”, reach out to me. David DuMont, (918)409-5195, [email protected]. I can send you the last 10 homes I’ve sold for your review.
As one of the Top 10 Agents in Tulsa, I would ask you to contribute to my Community Maps and Information pages by submitting information that you already know, for people that don’t. All I ask is that you tell me what you’re paying for HOA dues, when your neighborhood garage sale is this year, who your waste company is, and other simple facts of the neighborhood you live in.
